Kamenoko Tawashi

Since 1907, the production of Kamenoko Tawashi products has remained unchanged and is still made in the same way since it was founded by Nishio Shouzaemon in Tokyo, Japan, using the same raw materials of woven palm fiber.

Kamenoko means little turtle and Tawashi means mop in Japanese. The name refers to its shape and its connection to water and longevity. For over 100 years, Kamenoko has been dedicated to manufacturing quality brushes that have become the industry standard for cleaning products.
