LANDY RAKOTO
Landy Rakoto is a French ceramic artist living and working in Brissac Quince, France. She works with sound as an introspective practice. It's about the repeated gesture and finding joy and beauty in the world and everyday moments. Her approach explores rustic, brutalist and classic designs with a love of organic textures and bold yet comfortable shapes.
They are fascinated by beautiful everyday objects. The focus of their work is longevity, sustainability and the touch of the human hand.
She began her journey in Berlin, worked in a shared studio in Neukölln and then shared Jérémy Bellina's studio. She then moved to Brissac-Quincé in the Pays de la Loire region of France, where she built her own studio in her home at the end of 2021.
