Kate Kilmurray is based in Ojai, California. Her handwoven potholder designs reflect inner stillness and deep connection with the colors, textures and patterns of the natural world.
Kate Kilmurray practices the art of hand weaving as a form of embodied meditation. Making beautiful handwoven kitchen textiles helps her tap into inner peace and creativity; and she teaches other women to do the same—to slow down, activate the rhythms of the body, and achieve a state of wholeness and flow.
She believes that by incorporating handlooms into our homes, we bring more depth, beauty and meaning to our daily lives.
