Autumn Sonata brand was founded by Lili Elias. Lilli has her background as an archivist and a lifelong fascination with antique prints and textiles, which forms the source of inspiration for her towel designs and patterns .

The tranquil design of the Ester Bath Towel is derived from traditional katazome stencil practices ( Katazome is inspired by a traditional Japanese stencil technique for dying fabric or paper). The unevenness of the stripes mimics the relaxed organic nature of bamboo mats. This fully reversible pattern adapts to the unpredictable rhythm of everyday use and retains its appeal no matter the crease or fall. The generous double yarn is durable and maximizes comfort. This towel soaks and dries effortlessly thanks to the rich surface that forms an exceptionally even pile.
