The VENEZIA series was designed by Corrado Dotti for Ichendorf Milano. The vertically curved stripes along the entire length of the carafe were inspired by the tradition of Murano glassmaking.
The special thing about the VENEZIA series is the combination of the simple shape of the objects and the curved stripes, which give the objects a certain 'twist'.
The VENEZIA carafe goes well with this.

Ichendorf's company history began in the early years of the 20th century in a small town near Cologne called Quadrath-Ichendorf. Many master glaziers there used a mixture of substances, including silica, to give objects a shape that corresponded to the refined taste of the time. Precious ornaments played the main role in various tasteful collections until 1950.
This year a very important change in taste was introduced: the preference for a clean form and purity of the material, to achieve a kind of transparency that has no defects.
